Your AI SRE. It finds what broke and how to fix it.

OpsDetective scans your environment, investigates the issues from your tickets and monitoring alerts, checks your pipelines, and helps your team fix them. It saves hours of manual work every week.

Runs on your own servers. Read-only. Works with Claude, GPT, Gemini or a private model.

CriticalCustomers report payments are failing
Jira ticket SHOP-482, opened at 03:12 by the payments alert
00:00 elapsed
  1. Picked up the ticket and the matching alert. Grouped 14 duplicate alerts into this one case.
  2. Pod payments-7f9c: restarting, out of memory 6 times in 10 minutes.
  3. What changed: the 02:58 deploy raised the batch size from 100 to 5000.
  4. Same pattern as incident #27. Your runbook says roll back first.
  5. Database, network and payment provider are healthy. Ruled out.

Root cause

The 02:58 deploy needs far more memory than the pod's 32Mi limit, so it's killed on every start.

Fix: roll back, then raise the limit to 256MiDraft PR ready for review

See OpsDetective in 90 seconds

From a 3 AM outage to the root cause and the fix, plus everything it does between incidents.

Four jobs, done for your team

Connect your tools once. OpsDetective does the scanning, digging and paperwork your engineers do by hand today.

Scans your environment

Maps every cloud, cluster, server and repo by itself, and keeps checking it.

  • Finds problems before they become outages
  • Security score and cost savings
  • Tells you what changed

Investigates tickets and alerts

The moment a ticket or monitoring alert arrives, it starts digging, day or night.

  • Jira, ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Opsgenie
  • Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch and more
  • Root cause with evidence

Checks your pipelines

Explains every failed build and warns you about risky changes before they ship.

  • Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI
  • Spots flaky tests
  • Reviews pull requests and Terraform plans

Helps you fix it

Gives the exact fix and can write the code. Your team approves every change.

  • Step-by-step fix and commands
  • Writes Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Opens a draft pull request

And it keeps learning. It remembers past incidents and your team's corrections, writes postmortems and runbooks, sends weekly reliability reports, and answers questions in Slack, Teams or your AI assistant.

The real product

Screens from OpsDetective running on a demo company with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Kubernetes.

For your whole company, or just for you

The same product, two ways to run it.

Company

Runs on your server and is shared with your whole team. Built for DevOps, SRE and platform teams, and for consultancies with many clients.

  • One shared brain. Environment map, incident history and lessons for everyone
  • Team access. Roles, single sign-on and a full audit log
  • Your ticketing. Jira, ServiceNow, PagerDuty and Opsgenie
  • Client workspaces. A separate OpsDetective for each client

Personal

Runs on one engineer's laptop. Ready in minutes using the logins you already have.

  • Zero setup. Finds your AWS, Kubernetes, GitHub, Azure and Google Cloud logins
  • Use your own Claude. No AI key needed in OpsDetective
  • Alerts to your phone. Telegram, ntfy, email or desktop
  • Same safety. Read-only, and everything stays on your machine

Built so it can't hurt production

The first thing your security team will ask. Here's the answer.

Read-only

It only reads. It can't change, restart or delete anything, and it can't read secrets.

You approve every fix

Fixes are suggestions or draft pull requests. Nothing is applied without your team.

Your servers, your data

Self-hosted with Docker or Kubernetes. No telemetry. Your data never comes to us.

Secrets masked

Passwords and keys are removed before anything reaches the AI. Or use a private model.

Works with what you already use

Read-only connections, set up through a guided chat in minutes.

Install

One command on your server or laptop with Docker. About five minutes.

Tell the assistant what you run. It shows exactly how to create each read-only key.

Let it work

It maps your environment, runs its checks and investigates every new ticket and alert.

Common questions

What does OpsDetective actually do?

It connects to your clouds, servers, monitoring, tickets and pipelines. It scans them for problems, investigates every ticket and alert to find the root cause, explains failed builds, and gives your team the fix, including the code as a draft pull request.

Can it break anything?

No. It only has read access and every action is checked against an allow-list. Fixes come back as suggestions or draft pull requests that your team reviews.

Where does our data go?

It stays on your server. Only the evidence for a question goes to the AI model you choose, with secrets removed. With a private model, nothing leaves your network.

Which AI does it use?

Any you like: Claude, GPT, Gemini, or a private model on your own hardware. In Personal mode an engineer can use their own Claude subscription.

Can we try it first?

Yes. Every install includes a free 14-day trial. Book a demo and we'll set it up with you on your own environment.
